Grealish “high-fived” in disciplinary after leaked photos emerge

England and Aston Villa midfielder Jack Grealish attended a club disciplinary today for recently breaking lockdown measures but avoided punishment after a photo emerged of how he had spent his time during the brief transgression.

Grealish had previously claimed to have had a quiet night, and that he and Ross Barkley had simply gone to Pizza Express in Woking for “hot punani with double dips” to celebrate Barkley’s birthday, and had claimed to have “parked the Bentley” by 9 pm that evening.

Fearing a backlash, officials had Villa had intended to hand out a one-match suspension until a leaked photo emerged of Grealish in a compromising position with a barely clothed “friend” in what looked like a hotel room.

Grealish had an untypically relaxed posture for the disciplinary and was wearing sunglasses throughout. When asked for a statement, he simply said, “I met ah gyal at di hotel. Suh? Man dem mek time fi di pum pum”.

The committee then decided that the best course of action was a round of high-fives. Grealish is expected to come on the pitch at Villa’s away game at Wolves on Saturday to a guard of honour from his teammates.
